Trump Offers $1 Million Reward to Expose Election Fraud

📅 2026-10-27📖 2 min read💬 0

Donald Trump has announced a $1 million financial reward for anyone who provides information on election fraud that leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved.

Trump made the announcement on Monday in a post on his Truth Social platform, roughly a week ahead of U.S. congressional midterm elections. He stated that the payout applies to reports involving previous elections as well as the upcoming 2026 midterm elections, provided the information results in arrests and convictions.

The offer comes as broader efforts are deployed to tighten election oversight, including pressing states to hand over voter registration data and pushing for measures to guarantee voting integrity. However, political experts and election officials—including Democrats and some Republicans—have criticized these actions as federal overreach. According to Reuters, election officials are actively preparing for potential federal interference in the upcoming midterms.

Trump previously made unproven claims regarding election fraud following his loss to Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election. His refusal to accept the results led to the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol in Washington, where his supporters attempted to stop Congress from certifying Biden’s victory.

The statements arrive as Republicans prepare for competitive midterm battles to defend their slim majorities in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. According to Reuters, polling indicates challenges for the Republican party amid falling popularity for Trump and voter concern over rising living costs and fuel prices linked to the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran.
